Precedent with 4x 12V
I'm going to look at an 07 Precedent out of town......originally told it had 6 8V batteries and just found out it has 4 12V's. What is the issues associated with 4 12V batteries....pros'/cons?.......should I convert it to 8v now while it needs batteries?
I know there are threads about it and I will look into the conversion on the Precedent but if any minds giving me the quick skinny....I would be much appreciative... |

Re: Precedent with 4x 12V
Just read the conversion sticky. Simple enough. But what I don't know is what is the benefit of doing it? Run time? Power difference? If its just run time.....its not a real issue for me but I will be lifting it so power would be.
Thanks again for the help. |

Re: Precedent with 4x 12V
There is a lot of info about the pros and cons. One thing rarely discussed is the weight difference. 4 12 volt batteries weigh 50 lbs. less than 6 8 volt batteries.
