Default cart wont run need help to isolate the problem

I have a 00 DS that doesn't run. I pulled the motor and found a bad connection internally. I repaired the wire and re-installed motor. I did bench test the motor after and made sure it worked. The cart has brand new battery's. I replaced the passenger side solenoid with no luck. The cart clicks but does not move. I'm starting to think the controller is bad. I'm new to golf carts and need any help for troubleshooting. Should I check any other areas before trying to find a replacement controller?

A lot of times a bad motor will kill a controller. I will wait for others to respond but that is what I have experienced in the little bit of time I have been working on carts. There are no "bench tests" for controllers...let others respond for more info and advice.

thank you for the feedback but that brings me to another question...\
I wanted to put a bigger motor in anyway. So I will need a better/beefy controller. Would either of you have any motor and controller suggestions?
This cart has a ridiculous stereo and wrap. will be used for parking and jamming. I would be looking for a speed motor more than torque
thanks Zach

The other day I took the left side solenoid off my 99 DS. I got on the cart to try it out and it would not go click but no go. I though I had really goofed. Then I put the f/r switch in forward and everything was fine. I had bumped it when I took the seat off.
