I don't use mine for the reasons listed. In the end, it didn't give me enough storage anyway.

I've had one for 10 years filled with mosquito repellent, tees, balls, small wash cloths for when it rains, extra golf gloves, bandages, screwdriver, tire gauge etc, etc. Its been invaluable for me. DS carts (unlike Precedent) have small dash/storage wells. Since its easy to remove for battery maintenance; I'm a fan.
