Default Slowly but surely getting requirements

I am slowly but surely getting all requirements for a Vin number and registration. This morning I installed seat belts and a LSV reflector triangle. Last week I installed headlights, brake lights, turn signals, horn and speed reducer for 20-25 mph speed. My side mirrors should be here today.

How are you going to get it certified that the max speed is 25mph

I will probably put the PQ motor back on it. It ran 23.5 mph that way.

Why can't you just leave the EMP motor on? Doesn't the reducer you built make it go below 25?

It does but why risk it. I know the PQ motor does 23-24.

Would you swap back after getting it registered? It seems a shame to know the cart has all that potential then never use it. Of course, I'm a lead foot too, so I may be a little biased.

I have never heard of the DMV doing a speed test, all they do is ask if it does 25 mph and you say yes or no, all they check is your lights, horn, and sticker for the windshield, and tires DOT approved

they never did a speed test if they ask which they didn't for me is over 21 mph less then 25mph . the guy before me never took it off the trailer , I had to take mine out cause it was in a enclosed trailer . Don't forget the windshield wiper, lic plate light/bracket, weight slip and red reflectors on the rear corners above the wheels .

they never looked at the tires or to see if the windshield was dot approved. just looked to see if there was a windshield . She spent more time looking for a place to put the sticker then anything else. time spent outside with the inspector under 5 mins . I spent way to much time worrying about having it right and filling out a ton of paperwork for nothing. its nothing more then a government cash grab.

when it comes to paperwork : Name , address , sign . anything else will most likely be wrong because the forms are multi purpose . it is no longer a 2010 Esgo/CC it becomes a 2014 ASPT and they assign a number so the serial number that's on the cart means nothing . Make sure you have some type of receipt for parts and work done (that's about the only thing I had right).

InVision : do you have 4 seatbelts hard to tell in the pics . one thing that you may want to check into is if you need the center upright (grab handle) coming up from the rear floor board . I have no backseat so no need for it .
