Default 6" Precedent lift question....want real answer please

So I haven't decided on the Jakes or Allsport 6" A-Arm lift on my new 07 Precedent yet but what is the official verdict when it comes to rear brake lines? Will I need extended brake lines? I've read so many contradicting answers that im uncertain. I want it done right and at one time.

Where would I get the brake lines if in fact they are required and what's the price on them? Thanks in advance!

You don't need longer brake lines. Read this thread...

You da man! Thanks.

I haven't torn into the cart yet and don't have it at the house right now.....any tips or tricks for the actual backing plate swap?

So you just remove the snap ring and pull the axle....then unbolt the backing plates and swap and rotate? Do you remove the snap ring through that access hole or from behind the hub.

Great write up!

Thanks. Get a good pair of snap on 90 degree pliers. The model number is floating around this forum somewhere. Go from behind the hub. Shine flashlight through the hole.

The backing plates just un bolt and fall off after the axle comes out. They're easy.
