Default Alltrax issue maybe?

6 red = Battery undervoltage shutdown. Check pack voltage and undervoltage slider.

I just did an upgrade to my 2008.5 precedent. I replaced the motor last week and it ran fine, today I replaced the solenoid and controller. It is DCX-500 and I'm getting this error code from the controller. I reset the OBC, not getting signal to solenoid. It will charge but I charged it full before starting and the batteries are about three months old. It is reading 50.2 volts now. The only thing I can figure the connector 4 pin, red, black, green and yellow may be an issue being it isn't used. Randy @ PQ said it was for the program plug up front. I went through everything thoroughly, not sure where this error would be coming from, any ideas?

Reading 16.4 volts across B+ and B- no load, trying to figure out how to load test it. I don't have a battery load tester here.

Make sure it's wired back correctly

You can hook a laptop up and see where the undervoltage is set

WEll I had to cut my trouble shooting short yesterday, a little more information. I fully charged it the day before and yesterday I made a quick spin and while running I was reading 49.7 or 49.8 volts. I don't think I have the right cable to read the program but I haven't read the instructions either, so today...I'll repeat every connection again make sure everything is tight and making good contact, trace it out with schematic. Then I'll read the instructions on programming and see If I can get into the program and read the codes. It could be the smallest thing so A new day, fresh head should help. If still no luck I'll call randy and pq and see what he says. I would sure hate to take it all apart and send it back and get the GE after what I did but if it is necessary I will. I think it could be in the program but I really just began.

Does the solenoid click when you try to go?

When I flip the T/R switch to Run and turn the key switch on, it clicks, then a few seconds later drops out.

Went through all the cables and connections, I think it is connected together correctly. I get reverse buzzer, I get charger. Solenoid clicks the drops out a few seconds later. The Controller is programmable and reading up on it their is a slider setting to adjust the low voltage drop out. I'm getting the required voltages according the testing procedures (that I found and read). I'm off to radio shach to see if they even stock that rs232 cable, why couldn't Alltrax just use USB I don't know, rs232 is so outdated technology.

Amazing no radio shacks in town (3) has the cables and rs232 software that is required, no best buy either. Sure wish PQ sent me that GE controller (non-programmable) over this programmable crap LOL!

Your problem is in the solenoid activation circuit

Solenoid should click again each time you press the gas from a standstill. Use your meter to check and see if you are reading 48v across the 2 small terminals when you press the gas. My guess is no. Now test to see if you have either + or - present at one of the small terminals on the solenoid. use a jumper wire to bring the missing one (+ or -) and the cart should run... if yes this confirms the problem is in the solenoid activation circuit. Not the control or Solenoid itself
