Default Can't Get Brake Light to Work

I need some help!
I just installed a club car precedent brake light kit on my 05 Precedent and I can't get it to work! I connected it to the wiring harness under the floor like the directions said and it will not work when I step on the brakes. I have power to the taillights because they work when the lights are on. Any help would be great!
Thanks

What type of switch did you mount to the "Pedal Movement"?

The club car oem switch that plugs into the harness with a 30sec timer and spring that hooks onto the brake linkage.

1st - make sure it is wired correctly.

2nd - check the tail lights wiring to make sure all 3 wires are plugged in.

3rd - short the 2 wires from the switch together. (thats all the switch does)

If the stop lights work now, you have a bad switch. If they still dont work, there are 2 possibilities:

The timer module is bad or it is not wired properly for the precedent.
All pins on the timer module have to be connected for it to work properly.
