Default Welding cables plus Plum Quick, 07 prec?

I recently got a 2007 club car precedent and after browsing a while I think I've settled on doing a Plum Quick Bandit motor and some new cables. My goal is just to increase speed to around 20-22 mph and better torque. I don't understand what cables I should get though. Ebay and other websites have cables from $20 to $250 and I don't know anything about which I should get. Any ideas on how you'd upgrade this cart?

Do cables really make a noticeable difference?

The amperage flows through the cables to the motor. Think of the cables like pipes in a water system. Bigger cables = more volume delivered. Same is true when replacing old or corroded cable with new.

read this http://www.golfcartbatterycables.com/ Shows the importance of battery cables.

When I have the money I'll be upgrading and going with Scottyb's Did my homework and it looks like he has what I need all in one place. :-)
