48 to 12v converter frustration
I bought a light kit for my 2003 DS 48 volt. The converter model number is a
SWTF-4812/18A. The problem is it's a 5 wire system and the systematic is showing stub ends to nowhere as the following: Large yellow wire output Black Wire Thick, output ground Black wire thin input ground Red White control trigger line Red wire input (With Fuse) All this and no shown connection points Any insight would be help full Thanks Church |

LOL- They are all pretty much the same, this will give a general picture of what you are about to install.

Re: 48 to 12v converter frustration
Looks like you have only negative 12v output, correct?
If yes, then the 12v positive comes from the battery pack main. You can test this with your meter to be sure before connecting anything 12v. The switched wire is usually to the key switch - provided your keyswitch is the correct polarity. You will need a standard DMM (meter) to safely install this one I think. |
