1992 36v reverse boiling
I got this cart yesterday with its only problems being slow in forward fast in reverse well I switched the cables on positives and fixed it now I charge it last night and go into reverse it don't move and u can see and hear it boiling the battery it attached to forward seems to run fine what could have happened thanks

What sounds like boiling is gassing or the release of hydrogen gas under heavy charge. This should happen every charge cycle and it is why charging in a well ventilated area is recommended.
Which 2 cables where did you swap? |

I switched the main 36 and 18 cables I switched them back and now forward makes them boil and reverse works fine I charged them outside so what should I do know thank you
