36v to 48v

I have looked at all of the wiring diagrams and my cart is a combination of each and i just wanted some clearification on wiring. I have a 98 CC w/ Vglide and resistors and i was wondering how to wire the 48v F&R switch I know that the two post on that are on the moving portion go to S1 & S2 on the motor, but i am not sure what the 4 posts on the back of the switch attach to. I.E Solenoid, (+) & (-) batery terminals, A1 or A2??
Any help would be appriciated. Thanks Guys.

Might be a dumb ? But why do you have to change the f&r switch to go to 48?

The complete wiring diagram for this cart is in the stickies at the top of this section (Electric Club Car)....Great cart for the upgrade.....

The wiring diagram for a vglide CC does not show the F&R switch connections very well and all the others are controller carts. I just need some help on how the F&R switch should be wired. I would hate to fry the new equipment. Thanks for the help

Positive current only at the F&R. The 2 on the bottom are power in. You can connect them together and to the POS side of the battery pack (the charger pos goes in here too) or connect the passenger side to the pos in the middle of the pack for half speed reverse.....I have the stationary post on the passenger side going to S1. Passenger side of the toggle switch to A1 and driver side to the large terminal on the solenoid...(doesn't matter which side)
All are Positive.

That helps alot thanks. The Picture shows a 36v F&R switch, but I assume the 48V will hook up the same. If not will someone let me know since I will be wiring it up tonight.

Thanks for all your help guys and i just wanted to let you know that thanks to your help i got the cart running last night. Thanks again. The only thing is i wired it according to the wiring daiagram above and the F&R switch it reversed, put in forward and it goes backwards and vis versa, minor problem, but if i switch the wires on the back of the F&R switch will that fix my problem?
