Default Quick question on toggle switches & ignition switch etc

1. I am wiring up my 48v electric 2000.5 club car ds and wanted to update the light switch to a round rocker style - wanted to know what voltage or specs I need when buying one?

2. I have a 48-12v reducer I am wiring up as well and want to be able to cut power to all accessories with a toggle switch. Again do I need something designed for 48v or can I buy regular 12v switches from AutoZone etc?

3. Last question - I need a new ignition key switch - will any do or do I need a golf cart specific key switch?

Thanks!

1) any 12v switch .... if lighted you need to run a ground from reducer
2) any 12v switch ... not needed if wired to key switch
3) any 2 prong key switch will work

If I am switching/toggling right from the battery pack (+) do I need different specs than the 12v ones from an auto parts store, etc. I saw some say you want at least 20a rating and some say the LED light will burn out if 48V is ran through.

If I remember correctly most switches are rated like 250 v 15 a or 20 a etc.

you want a lighted toggle switch at the 48v + ?
most automotive LEDS are 16A @ 6-30VDC
you can get a 48v 20 amp lighted led switch (google it)
