High torque motor
I sold the executioner motor and called plum quick and placed another order for a high torque motor. Does anyone have the high torque motor for the IQ system from plum quick? If so how do you like it ? And what top end speeds are you getting I'm hoping for 23mph give or take. I under stand the executioner was a speed motor but after having that motor I'm still wanting decent speed.

Re: High torque motor
You sold it? Why, and where do you see the "High Torque" motor from PQ? I only see the typical 3. Just wanting to know because I was going to set mine up the way yours was.
Thanks B |

Re: High torque motor
I turned my cart into a hunting buggy, and I didn't need 32-35mph going through the woods. I didn't need to change motors I had great torque from the executioner. But I have a small trailer I pull with deer feed, tree stands and other things. And I just didn't want to over work the motor over time. A high torque motor at 25mph should be just perfect. For what I'm using the cart for now. I was going to keep the motor and buy another cart and make a street cart that would be like a little Porsche. But I don't need to spend another $2500.

Re: High torque motor
Oh and plum quick will make any type of motor you want. They have more than just 3 motors.

Re: High torque motor
I have one from PQ. It is suppose to have 25% more torque and it does 25 easily. Sometimes more. I have never measured the torque so I really upon what I am told.
The only worry I have is about bogging the engine down. If the cart won't go, do not keep trying to move it with the motor. That will cook the motor. For example, if you get stuck in soft sand, do not try to drive it out. We have the old beach from property ,sand hills, from millions of years ago in places at our club and I stick to grass when I can rather than slow down in the sand. |

Re: High torque motor
I had them wind the executioner for torque and speed, top out at 25.2mph lot of torque hauling 4 adults up and down hilly gravel roads, it is a best.
