converter exploded
Installed a 48 t0 12 volt converter from buggies unlimited and a headlight kit it worked about a minute and then then the converter blew up with smoke coming out , I checked all wiring and it was installed according to the diagram, I am trying to get a replacement. Has any one had any problem like this?? I checked for voltage to the frame and I had 4 volts but I washed the batteries and it went away.

Re: converter exploded
We have sponsors on this forum who back us. BU does not, and they recently sold.

Re: converter exploded
I also purchased a bunch of things at the time I purchased the convertor and it was my first purchase for my first cart and it was not a good experiance I did lift and tires and rims and speed and torque kit. There was two items that I didnt want one they said I would need for the lift wheel stops and they where not needed with the lift that I purchased. I paid to send them back because they would not and I am still waiting for my credit.
