Need help with obc yellow lite 09 precedent

I have a question about the following situation :

Have a 2009 precedent, with 6 Trojan batteries, batteries are only 4 months old.

This is what is happening-- Every once in awhile, I will turn the key ON and step on go pedal, and cart doesn't go. I then turn the key on and off a couple times, and the cart will go. This has been happening for about 2 months now. Also during this 2 month period, the yellow battery lite will come on and stay on for awhile, then will go off, and after awhile it will come back on.

This cart is all stock. Today I plugged in my IQDM-P in the cart, toggled the switch about 100 times, and no malfunctions at all.( yellow lite was still on).

I tore the dash apart, to get to the key switch, both wires are very tight and secure. Switch seems to operate every time. At this point, I tried an OBC reset, and the yellow lite has gone away ( thank you Lord!) so far.

So now, after resetting the obc, I still cannot get the key switch to malfunction.

SO IS IT POSSIBLE, THAT THE YELLOW LITE COMING ON, COULD HAVE AFFECTED THE KEY SWITCH IN ANY WAY?

This is not my cart, I am looking at it for a friend, and would like to make sure it is fixed before I return it.
I have ordered a new key switch, to install since I got it all apart, now is the time to replace it, and at least eliminate that from the equation.

you're assuming a lot here remember the OBC will not let the cart go so it really may have been the OBC all the time not the switch.
and you can feel free to take a break it is the fourth of July there must be a John Wayne movie on some channel.
