Club Car = Aluminum Frame?
I found a Club Car with the extra seat on the rear that folds down. I am not sure of the year just yet but the owner told me that it has an aluminum frame. Do Club Car carts have aluminum frames?
He also told me that its a 48v cart. Are their carts 48v? Also it does have Trojan T-105's but not sure how old they are. Is there a code somewhere on these batts that might tell me? This cart is $1500 which sounds pretty good considering the folding rear seat if the batts are not too old and in good shape. Thanx! Jeff |

Re: Club Car = Aluminum Frame?
Price depends on where you live and the age of the cart. Yes, all CC are aluminum frame. This means it is light weight which is especially good for electrics. And it won't rust. The bad news is They Break at the welds.......
And the battery box support suffer extensive electrolysis in about 10 yrs. CC has made the cart you describe as early as 95 from my experience...Not a great cart with an on board computer and controller they can can be costly to repair if older. Just my 2 cents. All carts have serial # which tell the age. CC # A99345678 is a 1999 yr model. A04221356 is 2004. Tag is located on the passenger side where the floor meets the bottom of the glove box. Trojan batteries have a date code stamped into the lead post base....A letter and number. I think it D4 is April 2004..... Good luck Folding rear seats cost $500 for the kit.... |

Check voltage on cart.
Trojans T105's are 6 volt batteries = 36 volt T875 are 8 volt = 48 |
