Default 09 precedent stops working.

09 precedent. Lifted. Batteries test good. The cart may drive 20 ft or 200 yds and then stops. When it quits moving you can hear solenoid click. Step on the pedal nothing for 5 minute's. It may go again for a short distance before stopping again.. I replaced the speed sensor. Still same problem...any help would be great...

Sounds like the MCOR to me. Do a search on here for MCOR and you will find many problems with them. Probably the #1 problem with most carts I work on. Hit up a site sponsor to purchase one from and happy driving.

Just for grins, after it stops turn the key off and work the gas pedal vigorously for about a minute. If it's the potentiometer inside the MCOR having a problem, that will "clean" the contacts off a bit and make it work better. If it does, you may still need to replace the MCOR but I've used that as a test to see if it helps. Just a thought.
