1979 club car Islander
Hi All,
Just purchased a 1979 street legal golf cart in good condition. The previous owner did not have the original charging plug in. and instead was using a regular battery charger. I am not sure on how to charge it? 2 questions if anyone can help 1. What type of charger can I use that plugs into the cart? 2. Is it acceptable to use a regular battery charger to charge up a golf cart. appreciate any advice Thanks, George |

What is the cart voltage. You can charge batteries with the proper voltage charger. I'm sure you already knew that. DPI makes chargers that are auto charging / shut off. You may do a search on the net and see if they have one that will work with your cart. I have never heard of an islander cart so I'm just guessing.
