Default Light Kit Help

I have a 2010 Club Car Precedent I2L 48v (6 batteries). I'm wanting to add a light kit that has the headlights and taillights only. (no blinkers or horn) I know that 2008 carts and newer have no taillight wiring pre-installed. From what I've read I need the kit with a taillight wiring system and a voltage reducer? Can someone tell me if I'm right and please give me any suggestions and tips you may have for me. I want this kit to look as close to factory as possible when installed. Thanks!

You are spot on! PM me for specifics that I have used. I just did this install on my 07 last week. Mine had the factory harness pre-installed but I wired up everything including a nice affordable voltage reducer.

you can make your own harness
take a string and run it where lights will go from reducer, (front & rear) then measure it
now take red and black wires and clamp one end in a drill
with a helper spin wires (slowly) into one cable the length you measured (add a few inches for connections) , one for front and one for rear

then run a red positive wire to switch then to reducer 12v+ (green) and run cable to lights... use butt connectors and run other wires to each light
and then zip tie it to cart

here is a basic diagram of just lights

I just purchased some items from non-supporting vendors at a great price and didn't want to ruffle any feathers on the forum because I do respect all of the support Ive recieved.
