Sounds like an MCOR might be in order

It's a Motor Controller Output Regulator. It's a little black box mounted next to the accel pedal.

David,

Not trying to hijack the thread, but would an MCOR4 fit directly into a PH1011-XXXXXX series cart?

There is no such thing as a Precedent Excel cart that is series. That is a SepEx cart. And yes, the MCOR 4 should be a direct fit

I apologize if I was a bit ambiguous in my question. I never meant to imply that I thought the motor was series wound. I meant the manufacturing series for the cart in general, as in its model.
In any event, you answered my question and I thank you for the quick response.

Your welcome. I didn't even think of it like that. I'm just on here so much that when I see a kind of cart, and then series, I automatically think, series cart

As far as mounting is concerned, yes. As far as wiring is concerned, no. You need the adapter pigtail. They're included in the MCOR4 "Conversion kit" along with the MCOR4.

Thanks David.

Just to be sure, that would be the AM293001 kit - correct?
