Inside of motor has red dust. Normal?
So I pulled my motor and its en route to Plum Quick as I type, but I noticed the inside of the motor casing looks like it has a bunch of red dust all around in it. Is this how its supposed to look? Can I clean out all of the dust-looking stuff without damaging anything?

the dust is common with wear of the brushes , most of the time its black . it can be blown out with a air hose
