using 36v charger on 12v batterie conversion
I just bought a 36v Melex and it has dead batteries, since i only use it to put around a 1 acre yard on the weekend doing yard work i thought i would save some money and install 3 X 12v batteries. it seems like it should work but not knowing anything about golf carts i figured i would pose this question here to the pro's, anyone see a problem with doing this? is there something i need to watch out for? can i still use my 36v charger? any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks, Larry |

Re: using 36v charger on 12v batterie conversion
36 volts is 36 volts
make sure the 12v batteries are deep cell batteries not 12v car batteries they are not good in a golf cart make sure you wire it correctly and keep them watered |
