Default battery terminal connector ?

Going to make my own battery cables & want to use good connectors !
Doing some research I see a lot of tin coated copper ! Im going to assume the bare solid copper would be best ! But would like some opinions ?

From what I've read the tin coated copper terminals will resist corrosion better than the pure copper will....

This is true but the working temp of tinned copper must be carefully regulated. In my experience, the tin and the solder melt at nearly the same temperatures.
Exceeding the working temp will result in the tin running and pooling in the stud hole I tried tinned terminals and found good quality copper was best for me. Remember if you keep your battery connections completely covered with protectant - you will not get any corrosion.

I used 4 ga. welding wire with copper. I took a sealed crimp connector and drilled a 3/16" hole in the end. I fluxed it and the wire. I held stripped wire in the vise and heated the base and melted the solder into the 3/16" hole until it filled up. At that point it was also visible at the base so I know I got excellent coverage. Then I shrink wrapped the ends. I just wasn't comfortable trying to flow enough from the base up. I also didn't crimp the connector.

I will order bare copper connectors ! I keep my post clean and protected !
Next question I have some 2awg wire but it has 6 or 7 strands ! Still bendable ! Is there really any difference compared to welding wire other than the finer strands ! It should still be an improvement over the stock 6awg ! I will be upgrading motor over the winter and figured I would due the batteries now !

For the difference in cost vs trouble of the welding cable vs heavy stranded cable I would go with welding cable. Less than 50.00 will get you more than enough welding cable. It is so much easier to work with IMO.

Even if 6/7 strand 2 gauge wire will freely pass a lot more amps than 6 gauge! The finer the cable the more flex and more amps it can pass but again from what I've read I don't think it would be a notable difference on a cart...

I just ordered 25 feet of 2 gauge cable with lugs, solder slugs, and heat shrink from Del City for 100 bucks....
