2002 club car ds clicking
Hello: I have a 2002 club car DS that I just received, it ran fine for days. We had a problem where after we installed a rear seat we lost a bolt. Come to find out it fell on the motor and as we were driving and the bolt pinched itself between 2 of the contacts of the motor.
What happened after that was the cart just stopped, when we try to go in either direction it just makes a clicking noise. Its not a constant click after you depress the pedal, it basically clicks once on pressure and release. We replaced the fuse that blew out. Still just clicks. Could this just be the solenoid ? Could any damaged have happened to the motor when this happened or would it have protected itself? Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Re: 2002 club car ds clicking
I would guess you blew the controller. They don't like sparks. Bolt shorting motor connections.
