Battery heat and leaking
i had to replace one of my batteries due to one being hit by a piece of re bar. after that i had problems with a certain battery terminal heating up. then i had problems with tops leaking. so i took water out of bateries and still have the problem i dont want to take to much water out and ruin my batteries. does haveing the one new battery cause the heating and gasing of others? thanks for all imput.!!

tighten terminals ... loose terminals cause heat
yes a new battery will need a few charges to equalize with the rest of the pack ...also new batteries come 75% charged ... it should of been charged before installing in old pack .. if not it was low and you over charged old ones ... check all batteries and compare volts if new one is still low, charge it or discharge old ones ,to get all batteries near same volts , then you can charge pack normally |
