Default Cart Won't Move.....PLEASE HELP!!!

I installed a lift on my 2012 precedent last night and in the process of detaching the lift springs the rear axle rolled over on top of my jack. Unfortunately a couple of the studs on the motor came in contact with a metal part of the jack producing sparks for a millisecond. I didn't think a lot of it until I was finished and wanted to go for a test drive. Cart still has full power but will not move. I'm guessing the controller but am really ignorant to these carts. Is there any type of reset on the motor or controller and which do you think is messed up? I have a 48V 250A Curtis controller. Thanks in advance!

Check the diode on your solenoid, is it burned up? Could just be your solenoid (fingers crossed) but your controller may have fallen victim as well (unfortunately)...

Could you please explain how to test the solenoid? Does anyone know if there is a reset on the motor.

no motor reset
Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. remove all wires, restorer , and diode
Connect an volt meter, set on continuity, place on the two large terminal studs. The meter should indicate no continuity, Replace the solenoid if continuity is present.

Using jumper wires attach from main positive and main negative to the two small solenoid studs, polarity is not important. You should hear a click as the solenoid engages, and the meter should indicate continuity on the two large terminals. Replace the solenoid if voltage is not present.

The solenoid resistor will give a false reading on the big solenoid posts. It has to be removed for any solenoid continuity tests.

I've done it too -

But I fear if this guy doesn't have a burnt up fuse or ms then the controller took a hit and that's 'man down'.
