36v ds no resistors at batts 400a controller been useing my vglide taped to steering with longer wires untill i got a new case asem to swap all internals into,old one broke where it mounts to frame, worked great there, new case come in i swapped little resistors, wiper arm, wires, stop cushion,micro switch, i layed out little resistors as they come off old to install on new, now i hear solonoid click if i move throtle any but no foward at all, tried reverse and just one time just touched throtle it tried wide open but only did it one time, now no rev or foward, i hear solonoid click good but no movement at all, picts of new vglide and internals swapped into it with wires.???

Yours is a 2 wire multi-step potentiometer. THe output signal should be close to 0-5000 Ωs. Can you test it?

how do i test this without a meter?

IDK. You tried the go test ... that didn't work. You could try a few other wire combinations but swapping wires around to see what happens can have catastrophic results.
Did you take a cellphone pic of the old resistor arrangement before dis-assembly?

ill go find a meter to test, when i took the resistors off i layed them in order to put on in same arrangment, my wife said last week the cart did jump alot when moveing the throtle one time but not again afterwards, is there any way i bought the wrong vglide case?

ok, bought a meter, do i need to take the resistors out and test each and add them up? or hows best way to test with this meter?

I'm not very knowledgeable on v glides , but in the photo the resistors don't make sense they way they are connected. Looks like some skip the pattern. That may be the way they are suppose to be, but just saying.

nothing on first term but after that each resistor overlays to the next term, thats how they come off old one anyway

i just noticed mines got 6 resistors but the updated kit has 7 so i may need the resistor kit. but this still worked before, do i remove resistors to test?
