new to me cart need some advice
well i finally took the plunge, bought an 04 club car precedent IQ. has a lift with 22 inch tires, 1 week old batteries, radio that SCREAMS and is loud and clear (this will be fun for working around the yard, but the cart will actually be built for hunting). what i am wanting to get from this cart is a little more speed, and as much torque as i can. now if im thinking right i am going to have to sacrifice one to get the other, so sort of looking for a happy medium. low 20's on speed would be plenty, as long as i still have enough grunt to do what i need it to. most of the driving will be relatively flat, but will possibly have a decent load on the cart, and a lot of off the road, shouldnt be much mud but just not on pavement. it is currently set up with 4 12v's but would eventually like to convert to 6 8v's. what is going to be the best route for me to go to achieve what my goal? i am also wanting a nice camo job, is there a DIY wrap or something i can buy to do this? thanks for any info. would also like to add, this will be a slow process due to lack of money so if possible give me a priority order. i am hoping to be finished with the build within a year

Re: new to me cart need some advice
I am a little over a month in on my first cart. I did an almost total rebuild. Controler, solenoid, batteries, 2g wires, high torque motor, voltage reducer, SOC meter, tires and wheels, lights, racks and brush guard, receiver hitch, custom camp paint. It doesn't look like a pro did it like most of the carts on here but it's a hunting cart that's also used to run the neighborhood. I called ScottyB @ carts unlimited and i'm happy I did. He was very helpful with motor and electrical parts. Cartsunlimited.net. He will give you first rate advise on what to do first and has very good parts and prices. The pic below is before I built the front brush guard and mounted the front LEDs to it.
