Voltage reducer
I have a 48V 01 DS and I can't find the voltage reducer. There has to be one because it has 12v lights.
Thanks Gary |

Re: Voltage reducer
It is likely mounted to the frame cross rail or side rail just aft of batteries. Trace the black wires from the main neg post. One should go to the reducer. If you have 12 volt batteries they may have the lights wired to one battery. The reducer is likely a sealed medal box sealed with resin about 2-3 inch by 10 inch or so.

Driver's Side behind - lead from battery #1 (On the longer carts 4/6 seaters it is in the front passenger frame rail) And interestingly enough -- I know my headlights are wired with a + lead from battery #2 (16v) but the tail lights/turn signals are powered separately (I'm assuming) from the voltage reducer. I'm learning quick every time I try to fix something on this beast. |
