Default 05 Precedent won't charge

I know the obvious things to look for on a DS cart, charging recp...clean/dirty, loose wires, etc, red wire from charge recept. hooked to first batt. in series, etc.
Is there anything special about a Precedent, I have tried two chargers neither will fire up, the cart is 48 volts. What am I missing? Help quick. Nothing happens when plugged in?

First....Glad to hear you finally got the cart. As for the charging, I wish I had an answer for you. I've always just plugged it in and let it do it's thing. As far as I know the setup is very similar to the DS models of the same year. Hope you get it worked out.

Thanks Catman,
I picked it up just a few hours ago, all looks good after making them jump around for 2 hours getting the cart as it should have been in the first place. Rides nice, clean, I made them switch a tire, front seats, windshield and top...or I was walking! Anyway, didn't have much time to check everything! Mom just called and said she plugged in the cart and nothing....I'm 50 miles away, so can't get a look until we're at Disney. If something is fried, there will be hell to pay. I'm an optimist, I'm sure it's something simple. I just didn't know if there was some "secret" switch I was missing,...like tow/run...never had one of those before!

not charging, if battery voltage is good and above 36 volts so low voltage sensor isn,an issue and all cables are ends are clean and tight here we go again OBC might have crapped itself theres nothing left besides it and they go bad quite a bit.....................................

Well, I guess I'll know alot more in the am. Anyone know what the 12v batts. cost anyways. I'm more inclined to think batts. than obc...my 95ccds obc is 13yrs old...no problem. Are the Precedents more fragile?

no its an updated version of whats in yoiur older cart and getting 13 yeaqrs is great but its the exception not the rule you just never know when they might gol...................by all means make sure batteriews are good andvtest good under load thats why said if batts, cabvles and your basic charging system stuff is all ok theres nothing left but OBC and one of the main symptons is charger not working..............................
