Default Charger Troubles

I have a 98 CC v-glide resistor cart and I purchased a Power Drive 3 Charger not knowing that it needed an obc to start charging. Is there a way to get it to work with my set up or do i need to get another charger?

I think you need to get the right charger. The charger you got is designed to work with a computer on the cart telling it when to charge and when to stop.

Is there a way to bypass this feature? The reason i ask is i need it this weekend and i won't be able to get a charger in time.
Also the batteries are brand new and I assume they have a charge, so would it be bad to run them without giving them a proper charging? Thank for all your help guys.

i don,t know if bypassing the low voltage sensor would help in this case or not but even with new batteries they come only about 75% charged and you don,t want to run them down much more than 50% ........can you put new batteries in and just drive it? yes how far are ya gonna get? no idea how fast is it gonna be? not fast al all..........................in my opinion i wouldn,t do it.......if you don,t mind paying extra for shipping you can have a charger by saturday if you find and order one today.........just remember the extra cost of faster delivery..........................................

Well i took your advice and purchased a charger, but the estimates delivery date is nov 3 with the express delivery. It went out today so maybe i could recieve it friday, but i doubt it. Thanks for all the help shadowman. On another note, does anyone want to buy a brand new Power Drive 3 charger??
