Cool club car guts bar stool racer

Well i am working on 3 carts and most times pulling my hair out.
I picked up a bar stool racer electric club car motor and curtis f/r switch
and controller and most of it was unwired. I know nothing about these carts so i started looking up wiring diagrams and calling shops. I had two shops look at it and after 5 mins they didn't understand how to wire it.
They never seen one wired with this setup. So i spent last few weeks trying to figure it out. well last weekend with the help of a friend we figured most of it out i have the cart powering up and moving but. on level ground cart takes time trying to move in forward but in rev. it does a burn out you have to hold on tight it is fast. Not sure if anyone here could help me I am not sure maybe what wires maybe i don't have right but will move. Cart is titled a 95 but that's when it was titled and built nothing to do with guts just my luck. any ideas will help thanks.

Figured you might ask that was looking back to answer that.
The diagram that helped the most was the 95 to 03 that control in the pick of the diagram looks like mine. and some of the wiring was intact. this diagram matched the best so i began wiring. now this cart has a curtis/albright F/R switch that did not come in any golf cart that i have found that was confusing me the most. And the foot pedal they used had like 9 wires they only used three so this cart was made out of a few different things. They also used wheel chair cart battery's 48 volt 4 battery's a lot smaller.
Now the other owner that took it apart marked on the back of the f/r switch but cant read it. took a lot of chances guessing we have the main wires landed and still got nothing so we started to look at the 3 other terminals left over on the switch we figured it needed powered up and after we tried that the center terminal was to power and the other 2 was neg to one went forward and the other side made it go in rev. cart moves doesnt mean its right i know nothing but have got a little closer .

Question Re: club car guts bar stool racer

The only parts in this cart is a motor, controller, solenoid,F/R switch, foot pedal.
all other wires where gone i could not figure out how to install kill switch and f/r button. as of now i have a button installed not sure its right but cart moves and kill switch i wired the solenoid and f/r together to turn cart on. so far it works this cart has no other solenoids or switchs. would motor numbers help? there is no tag on the controller ok now it gets more confussing i whent out got the old f/r switch the guy i bought it from said the switch was burnt out but he had a new one. so i looked up the numbers on the new one. since i have it in the cart so i grabed the old one to read to put info on here it says its a 36 volt switch the cart is 48 volt can it get any harder wtf.

Pics would help. Is the FnR switch big wires or small wires?

in the wiring diagram motor wires went to the switch 3 of them and the M wire from the controller to the switch. all the controller wires where intact the M wire was the only wire on the F/r switch when i got it i had to figure out the rest. the solenoid had a black and red wire that was unwired and the 3 prongs on the F/R switch as well

Ok, probably series. That is a reversing contactor for changing direction. Got pic of the controller?
