Default Lets talk lift kits

My question is are the A-Arm and spindle lifts ridgid or do they have shocks that soften the ride. Long travel are out of budget and pics of the other two in ads make it tough to tell how they mount.
also is there another way to tell if you have silver or black hub covers cause mine were painted black with the weels on looks like.
any pics would be great and as always thanks in advance DD

If it's the cart in your signature and they are original they are (were) silver. Scratch them and see I'd they are metal. Black original are plastic

The A-arm lift will replace pretty much all of your front suspension but, it will ride a bit more firm. The spindle kits usually use your existing suspension and ride more like a stock cart.

Comparing an A-Arm kit to a Spindle kit is like comparing a Cadillac to a Yugo. The A-Arm kit will give you much more adjustability in the front end to setup your alignment. It will give you a much better steering feel. You'll have an upper and a lower A arm to support your spindles and will give you a much more stable ride and far more control. Spindle kits will wear the bushings in your front end much faster than the A-arm kit will. They also have a tendency to wander around the road while driving. I absolutely can not stand spindle lifts as if you can't already tell.

I appreciate the response and sounds like an a-arm lift is in my future. The spindle caps are definatly metal so they should work also. Thanks guys

I recommend the All-Sports 6" A-Arm lift.

Biggin, it depends on what you plan to use the cart for. If you're gonna haul butt offroad and want a smooth ride go with LT. For a neighborhood cruiser with some trail riding the double a-arm kit is perfect.
