Converting to IQ
I have a 99 DS regen 2. What would it take to convert to an IQ cart. I have a controller. What else would i need? Will the IQ controller mount where the current controller is? Will the v glide work with the IQ?

Re: Converting to IQ
You need an MCOR to make the IQ system happy. You'll also need an IQ wire harness (part number 102196601). You need a pre-charge resistor (1014947) for the solenoid. The Regen2 doesn't use one. The OBC and motor are compatible and don't have to be changed. You also may want to look into buying a controller cover as well. The IQ controller doesn't play well with water. Yes, the IQ controller will mount where the other controller is, but I'm not a fan of doing that. There's a big hole there and the IQ controller really needs to sit tight against a solid base so it can disperse heat. 101965202 is the part number for the IQ controller mounting panel

Re: Converting to IQ
When I did the upgrade of controllers, I used heatsink compound and mounted to a solid aluminum plate but let me tell you after a long run the entire plate will be hot comparing to when I just had the 250 Amp controller. So make sure to take care of that like David said.

Re: Converting to IQ
I just happen to have a 1/2 inch thick piece of aluminum about 6 inches wide and 2 feet long. It should make a good heat sink.
