Default fast then slow

My neighbor has a Club Car, 2002 I think. It will take off fast then slow, you can reset the tow\switch and it will do it again. I replaced the speed sensor and it still does the same thing. It runs great and the batteries are charged and in good condition. Any idea's would be appreciated. Thanks!

Where did you buy the speed sensor? Ebay? If so, send it back and buy one from a dealer.

I hooked a volt meter to the batteries, runs 46v up a slight incline 47 or a48 down the same incline. Still starts off fast the volt drops to 43\44 then slows and goes back to 46.
Is this normal for the voltage. It did seem to work better when the batteries were first charged. I wouldn't of thought that a couple of volts would of made that much difference.

The voltage is just over 49v sitting still.
