Default brakes

I just installed a 6" A arm lift and rear lift from MadJax. after installation my brake pedal is much looser goes almost to the bottom before engaging. Should I adjust the brakes or tighten the cables? At a loss.

Well the problem now seems to be access to the adjuster under the floor, any ideas how to easily access this anyone?

What model cart do you have?

In my 08 precedent I had to remove 4 large torx screws from the floor trim (2 on each side) so that the whole rubber floor mat could be removed, then the access panel was easily accessible. Just carefully pop that off and the adjuster is right there.

Well finally figured it out, the access to the brake adjuster is under the access panel beneath the floor mat! Who woulda thunk it, anyone more knowledgeable than me on the club car I guess would have known. Hope this helps the next guy.

Did they adjust all right? Most of the time when you put the 6 inch lift on the drivers cable is to tight and needs to be replaced with a longer unit or when you hit the brakes the left rear wheel locks up and slides.

That's what mine did, I had to make a bracket to extend the brake cables.
