Did it have the 22 inch tires when you bought?

Yes but everything was stock. And it would cut off on me after driving long distances but after letting it sit for about 5 to 10 min it would go again. And it was very weak. That's why I upgraded everything to begin with. I got tired of it acting up all the time.
I hope that is where my prob is? Would it be best to put stock gears back in or do the 8:1?
Is there anything between 12:1 and 8:1?

And where would be the best place to get them? Are they pretty easy to install? I'm mechanically inclined and have common sense. I prefer to do the work myself unless there's some tedious technical stuff I'm gonna run into???
It can"t be no worst than setting up gears in my truck....?

I think 12:1 would be the best choice to put back with 22 inch tires for some off road, but definitely wait for the experts to comment. I have no experience with replacing those gears.

I was kinda thinking the same thing.
Also, does anyone know how to identify which rear end I have? Is it a Graziano or a Kawasaki or neither?

You may find a complete rear axle assembly, that way you could change the whole thing and have one for sale. Never know you may get more out of what you have than a replacement cost.

That would prob be the easiest way to go, just swap it out. I just found that I have a 3 piece Graziano rear end. Numbers stamped on housing are 3239913. I'll do some searching and calling around tomorrow and see what I can find out there. I just sent my motor back today to DD, so I got about 2 weeks down time to find one.
Thanks everyone for all your input. I'll cross my fingers and hope this is my issue I'm having.
Thanks!

Whoo Hoo- I win - sherlock holmes got nuthin on me today

Realize that stock gears are going to solve the motor burning issue...but your speed is going to be significantly reduced.

Thanks Scottyb! What would I have done without stumbling across this site. I always like to work on my own stuff when possible and it's sites like this that make it happen. I'm quite sure that has been my problem this whole time.
Speed was nice but torque is what I'm really after. I got sooo aggrevated with my cart last week when it burned up, that I went out and bought me a 2010 Yamaha gasser! Now I got the best of both worlds. But I like the CC better cause it's quiet and I use it for hunting. Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy it now without worrying about the heat issues.
Thanks again!

I am glad you found the problem, but DON'T forget to program that DCX controller for the right motor or you will burn up the controller and possibly the motor again. I've seen it happen on more than one occasion.
