Got a good battery deal
Got a deal on 6v golf cart batteries today. $40.00 ea. manufactured 3/14. They are Interstate batteries but at that price I couldn't pass them up. Especially since the batteries I am replacing are 10 yrs old. They have served me well, but run time was only about half of what they should be. Still can't complain, but one was really about to go,dragging the rest down. Was going to replace just the one with a used battery to keep the pack going, but when I saw this deal decided to replace them all. The old ones were Napa batteries I forgot how old they were until I saw the 04 sticker on the side!! Guess I did a good job of taking care of them!!

10 years of the same battery pack? Seems you did your maintenance well!
You deserved to buy yourself a fresh pack! |

Re: Got a good battery deal
Wanted to post a pic of the mfg date on the batteries, plus a correction. I stated the old batteries were Napa. They were Stowaway batteries. The Napa was from one of my other carts that had went bad and that was the one I saw. New batteries are now in and charging.ill check them tomorrow.

Re: Got a good battery deal
The most time I ever had from batteries was 8 years in my 1972 Cushman and I was thrilled.
