Well, the finally finished cart is finally finished....for now. I have a new rear seat coming, and a new HD front spring to install. Here's the latest iteration.

I'm really loving this cart. The Jake's Upper Brush Guard (roll cage) went together nicely, and I think looks a great deal better than the stock uprights. The roof is a Kolpin Medium UTV 3-piece universal top that I had to modify to get to work. When I initially placed it on the roll cage, it stuck out way too much and looked ridiculous. So, I had to cut 3.5" from each of the bottom pieces with a table saw, then rejoin them with a few blocks of 1"X4". Here's what it looks like after marrying the two bottom pieces.

Have a quick question, hope someone can help. It seems I've wired the new key switch incorrectly. The buggy runs with or without a key in the ignition. I followed the wiring of the original switch, but wanted a new one that used a unique key and not a master. Looks like I screwed this one up. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron

You may have the switch wired so that it's on when off. If you can get things loose try using jumpers and hold the switch and check different connections until you find what works. That's what I would try.

Key on, key off, no matter what it runs. Looked at the wiring photo I took before it was removed and it's exact. Maybe the old owner had it wired incorrectly??? I'll do some tinkering and see what I can find.

Make sure the "blue" and "green" wires are not on the same side of the switch.

The "blue" wire should be by itself, nice cart by the way
