Finally finished my 1997 Club Car DS
After more than a year of tinkering, I've finally finished my build. I say that, but I guess I'll never truly be finished. I know there are lots of things I want to do down the road, but it runs great now and I think it look ok too. I had to completely go through the entire cart, replacing just about everything along the way. I have a light kit ready to be installed, but that will just have to wait. Here's where I started, and where I am now.

The paint is Herculiner roll on bed liner. It's really easy to do, but there's lots of prep time. The lift is a Jake's 6" spindle lift. She's a little soft, and sways more than I'd like. I assume heavy duty springs are next?

Re: Finally finished my 1997 Club Car DS
The "finishing" continues. I just ordered my MadJax front clays basket, and am considering a new Jake's Upper Brush Guard. My new Plum Quick Bandit motor arrived yesterday, so it'll be installed shortly.

Looks great. Mine is black on black also. Can't wait to get my lift! Keep up the good work. Let us know how the motor does,as performance wise.

Re: Finally finished my 1997 Club Car DS
The PQ motor is still waiting for the heavy duty rear springs to be installed, which are waiting on sleeves and bushings to arrive so they can be installed. Was able to install my new Jake's Upper Brush guard, but I'm waiting on the Kolpin UTV roof to arrive so I can finish it off. I ordered a 30" LED light bar and mounting brackets too, an all should be completed in the next week or so. Gues I should have used a word other than "finished" in this thread's title. I'll have pics of it all when it gets closer to completion.
