Did Your harness adapter for the 1268 controller come with a new wire and pin to replace the negative wire of the speed sensor Deutsche connector?

Also, you cannot use the factory negative wire behind the dash for a volt meter.
It looks like those controllers still only come configured for the IQ harness, and the negative is on a different pin on the Excel harness.

Found the problem in the 3 pin plug at the speed sender, one pin was dislodged and not making contact..... Holy Chit Batman this cart is fast at 33+ and has made it to the top of every hill with ease.... Only gripe now is I wish I had some pedal up regen braking to help control speed going down hill, I live in a very hilly hood..

Yes and yes... The controller comes with an adapter harness made specificly for the Axcel carts...

You are correct I got myself confused on the terms.

Yep it is scarey quick alright.... I've not seen how much faster than 33 it will go and don't really care to; I just wanted 25 and good hill climbing speed which I've now got.... Will be looking to improve breaking. I'd like to get sone regen braking back though.

Be careful with regen braking. If you are going real fast and it kicks in you could loose control of the cart. The regen only really works on one wheel, it is like pulling except backward. The rear end is not dead lock pos traction therefore when the regen kicks in it only holds one wheel at a time like pulling. I had the pedal up removed from mine because I was going down a hill on the golf course and it kicked in and put me into a one wheel slide I could not control. With just the brakes I can pump them.

I was thinking on mine upgrading to disk because I drive on very hilly roads, it will go over 25 if I let and on gravel that isn't safe. I can control it heavy on the breaks but my wife would crash going down hill.

I would think 4 wheel brakes would be the best way to go, disk or other wise. My cart will do 23+ on level ground but the only time I do that is on the road. On the golf course most of the time I am about 10 mph max.
