I am pretty good with mechanical stuff ,but not familiar with how these things work. I have run into a problem with this old girl . It has a very short run time after having been charged all night 18 to 24 hrs. it will run maybe 30 minutes then it acts like it is going dead. when I check the voltage it shows 35.7 to 36.5 volts but still acts run down. batteries have been tested individually and as a group they all load test well. all the cables and terminals have been well cleaned. another round of charging will bring it back to life. surface charge before we try to use it is any where from 37.5 to 40.5 v I am fairly sure its not a bat problem. I am wondering if it could be a component over heating?

35.7 v is pretty near a dead battery pack at about 35% of charge. You should never go below 50% charge....look in the stickies at the thread "all about batteries" and you will find a chart to tell you about the batteries. But that is the problem...WEAK batteries!!

your cart should read 38.3 after full charge and 12hrs rest

check each battery after rest and post results
