Default Charging Batterys

I recently bought a 6x12 enclosed trailer for hauling, and as a garage at the campground for my cart (2006 precedent). I am planning on putting a through wall exhaust fan to run while charging. my concern is do yall think I need an explosion proof motor in the fan, or will a regular fan be safe. I may be overthinking, I figured some of yall have experience with charging in small spaces. Thanks for any help.

Unless the trailer is air tight, fan is likely not necessary. All that is really required is a vent in the roof to let any rising hydrogen out. A fan in the side wall or floor is not effective as hydrogen rises and accumulates on the ceiling and works it way down as it displaces air pushing it down to the floor.

Its going to be close to air tight after I spray foam on the walls and ceiling. I was going to mount the fan at the top of the wall in the rear it already has a wall vent at the bottom in the front. I was planning on using a 24 hour timer and have the fan come on every day during the afternoon heat when I am not at the camp ground.

do your trailer a good deed and put a rubber mat under cart where batteries are as they will sometimes bubble over and drip on floor
