Re: battery replacement
With just about all things you get what you pay for, and this goes double for batteries. With Trojan you get a good solid 3 to 4 years if you observe proper maintenance and the biggest sin of all is discharging more than 50%.
On the flip side you can get a Wallyworld, NAPA, blah blah cheap battery and you are only going to get a year or two. OK with that said in order of quality and working down the food chain: 1. Trojan of course. 2. US Battery 8 volt cart batteries in 3 AH sizes to chose from. They are less than Trojan and decent battery. 3. Sears, Wall Mart, and Sams all sell 8 volt golf cart batteries. Take your pick as all of them are Interstate batteries with a store label. If you have to go cheap exercise option 3 because those 3 name brand stores will back up warranty issues pretty easily if you keep receipts. |

Re: battery replacement
Sunking makes good points and I agree with his information... however if I had 4 choices they would be as follows... In this order..
1. Trojan 2. Trojan 3. Trojan 4. Trojan Cutting corners on battery prices are only going to cost you more in the long run than spending more on quality at first. |

In my area cheap = $95.00, Trojan 875 =110.00. $90 in this hobby is a little piece of diamond plate!
