Default Anyone try the new Jake's Upper Brush Guard (UTV Rollcage)?

I'm interested in buying/installing a new Jake's Upper Brush Guard onto my CC DS, but wanted to know if anyone has any info on it? Looks really nice, but it all ships in one box so I'm afraid the quality may be a bit less than desirable. Any input you may have is greatly appreciated. Heres a link.

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ron, I can understand your concern with the Upper Brush Guard shipping in one box. We designed this kit to be bolt on so it is UPS'able. If we made this in one piece it would have to be sent truck freight which would greatly increase the cost. We swedged the ends of the tubing to make it sturdy and easy to assemble. You will not be unsatisfied with the quality!

Jake's products are always top notch. I'm on my second long travel on 2 different brand carts and I wouldn't go with any other brand. As far as the brush guard goes for your club car, I don't see you being able to build one like it for the price. Just my thoughts. Don't worry about quality with Jake's, it's built into everything they make.

Thanks for the response Glen, much apprecaited. I've got a Jake's 6" spindle lift on my DS, and thinks it's awesome, but haven't seen too many of the Upper Brush Guards yet, just too new. Was hoping to see more pics of them installed, perhaps more angles of how it mounts and such. I think it looks amazing, and am very close to pulling the trigger. Would any of the universal UTV roofs mount easily to it? If so, is there a preference?

Thanks a ton for all your help,

Ron

Didn't see it on their website, but I'm sure they do, or will. If I find out for sure if a universal UTV roof will fit, I'm buying one ASAP.

Didn't Jake's get bought out by Nivel? Just curious.

Finally installed my Jake's Upper Brush Guard, and I couldn't be happier. Easy to install and very sturdy. I'm quite impressed. I'd really like to add a roof to it. Anyone add one, and if so, which roof works best? Tried emailing Jake's, but haven't heard back yet.

Thanks in advance,

Ron

Sorry, as of right now we do not offer a roof for this and we do not currently make this for the Precedent.
