Default MCOR testing on 2006 club car

Have searched forums for instructions on how to test the MCOR and seems that most want to PM, so it don't help others...

This what I have found....

white-purple/white.....6.85
yellow/white.....7.98 with pedal up..with pedal down 1.75
yellow-purple/white....1.13 pedal up...pedal down 7.7

My readings are

white-purple/white...8.95
yellow/white....10.30 pedal up....1.28 pedal down
I do NOT have a yellow-purple wire to test...
these readings are taken at the 16 pin connector at controller

Is there another sent of test made for the 2006 club car....AQ

If you get ahold of a service manual for that cart, there will be step by step instructions on troubleshooting that mcor.

The manual is priceless.

Well no go on finding service manual online.....

Does no one here know how/what to test mcor on on 2006 ds club car....

OK...I will PM you

My above readings are off from what I can gather...Does that mean the mcor is bad or does it mean I have a problem leading to the mcor...

Just want to know the correct ohms/volts and wires. etc...and how to test it

Smokey, its a DS.......AQ = DS Electric IQ 48 Volt Regen

The above test I listed on here must have been for a precedent because the DS didn't have the color wires for the third test....So, not knowing what cart that test is for , I don't know if my ohm readings are off..

This cart is not mine. I live in a campground that allows golf carts and have gotten pretty good at fixing them. This one has me stumped. I have incorrect ohms/volts through out the cart and Im trying to do a process of elimination. I think its a short/ground/broken wire, just have to find out where

Are your readings in volts or ohms? What kind of problems are you having with the MCOR?

The readings posted are in ohms. Not sure that anything is wrong with mcor. Im doing a process of elimination. original thread is Pack voltage on all four solenoid post, just a few days ago...

the above is the only test I could find but don't have the yellow/purple wire to test.

Just trying to eliminate mcor while waiting for response from other thread.

Check is out, you may be the one that has the right answer...

Thanks

Well try this. There is two more wires coming from the MCOR. These are from the switch that energises the solenoid. Check that it is opening and closing with the foot pedal up and down.

jjance.....We might be on to something here....two wires going in and three coming out....white, yellow and purple with white strip...All go to the 16 pin connector at controller..Thats where I did the testing...I have NO ohms on any of the three wires with peddle up or down..

Testing was done in TOW...Does anything need to be on or off....ie...key, F/R, tow/on/off
