1997 Electric Club Car DS wont accelerate when pressing gas peddle

I have an electric 1997 Club Car DS. The only modifications I put on it are a radio with two 100 watt speakers and 2 Halogen headlamps. Now whenever I step on the gas peddle, it makes a clicking, noise like it wants to accelerate but only goes maybe an inch or two and stops. So I talked to Vic Gerard(The place I bought it from 2 years ago) and they said it needed a new fuse box, so I did exactly what they said and got a new fuse box and put it in. Then the golf car worked for maybe a couple days after that and it started doing the same thing. Everything else works,the lights and radio, and I even charged it thinking that could be it. But it still does the same thing. Can anybody help me with this? Thanking you in advance, Trevor.

You don't have anything grounded to the frame, do you?

Did the cart run before you added any electrical items?

Something to try, is turn the key on, put cart in forward, step on the go pedal, and while the pedal is down, bang on the body, under your leg next to the f/r switch.
I have had a few customers that call me cause they stuck, because the cart won't move. A lot of times, the f/r switch needs replacing. If you bang on the cart as i explained, and the cart jumps or takes off, that might be your problem.
