2004 Villager 8 Is Slooooow
Until my recent purchase of a Club Car Villager 8, I've been an EZGo guy, so please be patient with me. I just put a new set of batteries in this cart (50 volts total and each battery reads about 8.35). I load tested each one and they all passed. The cart hits a top speed of 11 mph on flat ground. It slows to about 8 going up a mild incline. My understanding is that this cart should run between 15 and 17 mph. The power is consistent. No lunging or stalling. It's just slow. Any ideas?

If it's a series drive system it sounds about right. They're terribly slow. 10-12mph or so usually.

Well, that's terribly disappointing! But on the bright side, I guess that means there's nothing wrong with it! :)

What is the cheapest way to get some more speed out of it?

What is something like this worth? It's in great shape, but I'll probably sell it and look for something with a little more pep. It's a 2004 Villager 8.
