How to polish black club car body ???
Hi all...
Recently purchased a 2008 Precedent with a factory black body. It has a few scuffs and scratches that I would like to remove. Apparently, the material is "surlyn", which I assume to be a softer plastic. Owners manual states NOT to use rubbing compound as it will dull the finish. Has anyone had any experience with removing surface scratches without messing up the finish...??? Thanks in advance...! |

Re: How to polish black club car body ???
it really depends on if has been painted and it also depends on how deep the scratches are . u can buff it out with rubbing compound and come back over that with a polish . all has to be used with a buffer. black is a hard color to buff out cause it show every scratches and swirl marks

Re: How to polish black club car body ???
It's the original factory finish...hasn't been painted...scratches are minimal (not deep enough to catch with a finger nail...). More like hazing than anything else.
I just don't want to make it worse... |

Club Car recommends Turtle Wax ICE. It's made for plastic.
