Just picked up an '88 DS
Hey guys,
Like the title says, just picked up a nice custom '88. Black on Black, all murdered out, nice stereo and lights. I like it alot, but it needs some front end attention. Pretty much every bushing, rod end, etc, is worn out bad. I need some help. In researching parts to replace all the rod ends i was wondering if the steering rod end is the same p/n as the right tie rod end. They look similar, just couldn't verify online anyway. Thanks for the help, this forum is great! Dan |

You can look at the sponsors and see what kits you need, might want to upgrade the cart by lifting it.

They look dirty but can't tell if they are worn from a picture. You need to find the manual for your cart, then you can cross reference these parts. I think if you look at the stickies in this forum, there are some manuals available.

Re: Just picked up an '88 DS
Thanks. Oh yeah, they're worn. I can take the steering rod and rotate it completely off the bushing stem. I can find the left and right tie rod ends all day, however i can't seem to find anyone that sells just the steering rod end. I'm thinking that all 3 rod ends are the same.
What I need is an illustrated parts breakdown. Anyone know where to find one?? |
